2 cups of all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 cup of crisco
2 eggs, beaten
3 1/2 bananas, peeled and diced
1 1/2 cups of sugar
5 tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Begin the process by preheating your oven to 350 degrees.
Spray 2 8×4″ loaf pans with non-stick cooking spray.
In a bowl combine your salt, baking soda and flour. Mix all of the ingredients well together to combine all of them evenly.
Once all of the dry ingredients are mixed in well together, in another bowl add in your diced banana slices along with your crisco, eggs, sugar and vanilla extract. Mix all of wet ingredients well just like you did the dry ingredients.
Combine both the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients into one bowl and mix well until you have a batter.
Once the banana bread batter is formed, pour the batter into the loaf pans sprayed and prepared with non-stick cooking spray.
Spread the batter out evenly in the pans and place the pans of batter into the preheated oven and bake for around 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.
Once the bread is done, remove both pans out of the oven and turn your oven off. Place the loaf pans of banana bread on your counter and allow them to cool off for around 10 minutes before you remove them out of the loaf pans.
Place the bread on a wire rack to allow it to finish cooling. Serve and enjoy!
